Kcaster, who sometimes goes by the ailis Nick Dean, built a way too cool Diplomatic transport. The SNOTeed sides are perfect. When you first look at it you can't tell it's made of Lego. The colors are awesome. I for one supported the tan in there. It takes a step away from the ever-so-common gray + red color scheme. The greeblies on here are teh h0tn3ss. Perfectly set into the ship. Excellent work Nick!

Tycho's Kat

Roy Cook posted a pretty neat ship today. The Tycho's Kat. It's kinda ugly, yet it's still fun to look at and try to figure out how he built it. The SNOT used in this beast is great. Lots of studless areas around. Red and white is a great, if somewhat overused, color scheme. It adds to the sort of cartoonish look of the craft. My favorite part of this ship has to be the engine intakes. You can never use to much chrome.

Steampunk Ninjas?

Linus Bohman recently made a "Steampunk in Asia" vignette. It's an excellent example of what I think of as steampunk. Futurestic, yet old fashioned. Lots of neat detail, and a really cool assassin dude. Good job Linus!

JE Gunboat, Sun Tzu.

I built a small Jade Empire Gunboat recently. It's nothing special, but I like it. It marks the first JE ship posted in several months. (I wonder what happened?) The three engine configuration is a bit strange. It's also slightly reminiscent of my PCS Transport and Dzerzhinsk. I made up a story to go with it. It can be read here.

Snoikle is Live!

And so we begin.
